Unlocking the full potential of fast content

BETER’s CEO, Gal Ehrlich, in the article for iGaming Business, explained how fast events drive the betting industry and why dynamic 24/7 events are the best and reliable solution for every sportsbook.

One of the core qualities which makes the operator a better choice for a customer is the variety and quality of provided events. Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, sportsbooks had to solve the issue of free airtime and find reliable and appealing events to offer to bettors. When global sporting events were cancelled, fast sports and esports tournaments immediately received a great deal of attention.

Fast events have driven our industry for the last two years. Since the Covid-19 outbreak began, consumers around the world have changed their habits. Daily online consumption has doubled. Naturally, the sports betting market has to consider the new trends to meet the customers’ needs. Therefore, providers and operators have increased the number of fast sports and esports events available 24/7 in their portfolios.

Fast betting

Fast betting events are particularly popular with bettors, and therefore significantly increase the operator’s turnover. Matches are live-streamed 24/7; bettors tend to bet up to five times more due to the fast nature of the event and the comprehensive selection of markets per match. With fast betting events, bettors get quicker outcomes of play than they would for, say, a regular football match. They can also bet while waiting for the results of a major sporting event, during the off-season of their favourite sport, or simply because they don’t have much time to watch long matches.

The sports-event industry around the world has already returned to operation, yet we still see a continuous increase in consumption of BETER content. The constant growth that our company has been experiencing is due to our fast events supplementing global sporting events. These matches are just another exciting option for bettors.

Even during Uefa Euro 2020, our clients noticed that ESportsBattle’s efootball and Setka Cup’s table tennis matches chalked up far more views, which, in turn, led to an increase in bettor engagement level and the number of bets placed. Moreover, we witnessed a huge spike in engagement rates of ESportsBattle efootball events in the run-up to international sports matches.

Tournament action

Today, BETER powers eight sports and esports disciplines of the Setka Cup and ESportsBattle tournaments. Offering more than 23,500 events every month, we are able to serve 35 million people in 152 countries, granting them the opportunity to enjoy our live streams and place bets on their favourite sports and esports content available at the world’s leading sportsbooks. Thanks to numerous sports and esports events and detailed stats, BETER provides clients with predictable margins. We’ve also noticed enormous potential in developing tournaments’ media channels that cover weekly video reviews of players and match highlights. It helps us create and maintain the sporting spirit of competition.

As the US sports betting market continues to post record-breaking revenues, simply securing market access is no longer enough.
