BETER welcomes Gal Ehrlich as a new CEO

We’re very proud to announce our team has been strengthened with a new Chief Executive Officer — Gal Ehrlich.

Before joining BETER, Gal Ehrlich held the position of a Chief Technology & Product Officer at Fortuna Entertainment Group being a client of BETER. It allowed Gal to get to know us and our products. This experience was a great motivation for Gal to become a part of our team.

Gal Ehrlich has more than 20 years of experience as an operations and technology executive. Gal worked also as a VP of Shared Services at Playtech. Overall, he has been developing betting and gaming companies for 12 years. “I am excited to become a part of BETER company. The company has come a long way in the last few years. It is a privilege for me to be able to take BETER to its next step, to support its growth by providing our customers with extraordinary value, and to get an opportunity to fulfill the great potential of the team,” commented Gal Ehrlich.

Starting from 1 July 2021, Gal Ehrlich as a new CEO will succeed Alex Barkar, who has successfully led the company since its inception in 2018. Meanwhile, Alex will stay with our team as a Board Member and Co-Founder. “I decided to focus on global challenges as a Board Member and leave the CEO post a few months ago. And I am happy that together with JKR Investment Group we managed to find such an experienced manager as Gal in such a short period. I strongly believe that Gal will strengthen BETER. We built everything from scratch, and we did it very well. I am proud of all our achievements and look forward to even greater opportunities,” said Alex Barkar.

BETER is one of the portfolio companies of JKR Investment Group. The CEO of the company, Alexander Gusev, commented on the appointment of Gal Ehrlich, “We believe that the new appointment will give a new great impulse to the nucleus called BETER. Gal’s strong expertise in b2b and b2c sectors in gambling will strengthen BETER’s leadership position in the market. We would also like to thank Alex Barkar, who successfully managed the company that made a real impact on the market.”

BETER is a leading provider of fast sports & esports content, live streaming, live data, and odds for the betting industry. The company powers Setka Cup and ESportsBattle tournaments and offers trading of world esports events.
