BETER reported the appointment of a new CEO — Gal Ehrlich. Gal Ehrlich takes over as the new CEO of BETER on 1 July 2021. Since 2018, the company has been successfully headed by Alex Barkar. 


Gal Ehrlich has over 20 years of experience as a leader in successful technology companies. In addition, he has experience in the B2B and B2C segments. For the past 12 years, Gal Ehrlich's has been concentrating on the gambling and betting niche.


BETER is a leading provider of fast sports & esports content, live streaming, live data and odds for sportsbooks. As a new CEO of BETER, Gal Elrich aims at managing programs and project initiatives for high-growing brand’s services and products to secure contracts in the global marketplace. Due to the experience gained in the Fortuna Entertainment Group, Gal effectively solves problems of the most varied complexity in the sportsbooks niche.  


Previous experience of Gal Ehrlich was a Director of Technology and Product at Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) in 2015-2021. The main tasks were related to the organization of the product and the technical vision of FEG. 


In the course of his duties, Gal realized that BETER and its main products - live streaming, live data and odds — are FEG's clients. The companies have been successfully cooperating to this day.


From 2009 to 2015, Gal Ehrlich was VP of General Services at Playtech. The company is the world's largest provider of online gaming software with effective solutions for top sportsbooks. Gal's goals were to manage services for Playtech licensees, control project management to ensure a constant stream of profits from Playtech products: casino, poker, sports, betting and Live. This work and the technology change have led to an increase in the efficiency of operations by 7 times (higher than the industry average).


Gal also has experience in different international companies. Among them iHP Software (formerly Mercury) 2007 – 2009, Formula Telecom 2005 – 2007, TTI Telecom 1993 - 2005.
